Plecare din Lugoj la ora 7. Ne îndreptăm spre coridorul Timiş Cerna.
Facem un scurt popas la Armeniş, o mică localitate aflată la jumătatea drumului nostru unde vizităm micuţa biserică săpată în stîncă.
Ne continuăm drumul spre Băile Herculane, o staţiune cu o existenţă neîntreruptă de 2000 de ani pe plaiurile mirifice ale văii Cernei, recunoscută pentru miraculoasele izvoare termale, „cea mai frumoasă staţiune de pe continent” după cum afirma împăratul Franz Josef în cursul vizitei sale din 1847. Staţiunea este înconjurata de mai multe puncte de atracţie turistică, peşteri, izvoare termale, cascade.
Luăm masa la una din frumoasele pensiuni din centrul staţiunii. Pornim în drumeţie pe Valea Cernei, admirăm frumuseţile locului, presărate cu vestigii dacice şi romane, vizităm Grota Haiducilor.
Spre seară plecăm spre Lugoj.

BĂILE HERCULANE – THE CERNA VALLEY
We leave Lugoj at 7 o`clock in the morning . We go to the Timis Cerna valley.
We stop for a while at Armenis, a small village at half way, where we can visit the litlle church carved in the rock. We continue our way to Baile Herculane, a resort known for 2000 years. Its termal springs are wel known and during his visit in 1847 the emperor Franz Josef stated that is “the most beautiful resort in the continent” There are many natural beauties around the resort, caves, termal springs, waterfalls.
We have lunch at a nice restaurant in the center of the resort. After that we can take a long walk along the Cerna Valley, visit the “Outlaws Cave”, or we can take a bath in the hot springs in the center of the spa.
Late in the afternoon we leave for Lugoj.
