Executive summary
This document examines the behaviour of a critical economic operator in the United Kingdom. In this case, Tesco needs to adapt its marketing policies to meet new challenges, such as Brexit and Coronavirus. Using the PESTLE analysis method as well as SWOT, this report examines the key factors influencing Tesco's development. To achieve consistent economic growth and profit, Tesco will need to review monetary policy by inventing new operating techniques in the national and global crisis generated by the coronavirus pandemic. The self-imposed isolation of Brexit amplified to the maximum by limiting the movement of assets caused by Coronavirus will boost the economic situation in the UK (Gourinchas, P.O., 2020).
1. Introduction
The decisions of economic operators, as well as commercial activities, are influenced by several factors. These factors are internal or external. The PESTLE and SWOT analysis method helps the company rediscover its strengths, which it will exploit, as well as the weak link that needs to rebuild. The SWOT analysis also shows the scope, potential and new opportunities. Most economic factors are macro factors, and the UK Government has the most significant influence on these factors. Decisions, activities of other States can also decisively influence the exchange rate, economy, migration or population health. The effects of the new virus will affect the world economy. The underestimation of these effects for political or image reasons ensures that the measures taken late do not achieve its purpose or fail. Artificial support of a favourable long-term exchange rate will substantially reduce the monetary reserve (VANNE, O.L.I.V.I.E.R. and Jacquet, 2019).
