Two Typs of Success

Introduction

This paper presents two types of success. First, I will make a short presentation of success and I will illustrate some ways that we can get to success. Then, I will illustrate the success by presenting two different cases. In the first case I will present Eminescu’s life, an established Romanian poet who was acknowledged as being the biggest Romanian poet only after his death. In the second case, I will present the movie ‘Harry Potter’, which was successful from the very first part.

Ways of getting success

Different people understand success in different ways. Some people consider themselves successful as they have an important job, others because they have enough money. There are people who consider themselves successful or lucky because they have a house and the essential, but these are just a few. Many people believe that you are a successful man when you become a star, when you are well known by people and you got money, a lot of money.

For getting successful we have to do projects and to materialize them.'Le Petit Larousse’ defines the project though ‘what we intend to do’ and ‘ Le Robert’ adds the ideea of purpose and means: ‘the purpose we are following, the image we are creating about what we will do and means we will use’. These definitions could be round up by the notion of ambition, because depending on how ambitious is the project, the means mobilized will be different. This way, projects will be different depending on the level we want to reach. There are projects less ambitious, like visiting a museum, buying a new refrigerator, etc. Of course, these projects won’t lead us to success, but they are a good start for us to make plans. The projects, which can guide us to success, are the ones more ambitious, like wishing to pass a difficult exam, wishing to get the adequate outline of one considerable progress or buying the house of your dreams. These projects require the subject’s material disposability, putting certain effort, into it obtaining information and trying to fulfill your goals. We can dream of some more vast projects, which will mark our whole life, like choosing a new professional career, certainly creating a new enterprise, the subordination of a new ideal…, important project which haven’t an accurate, concrete and datate end. The biggest project can be divide in some intermediate stages. These stages became projects, which an average importance, which present the advantage that are more realistic and can be faster accomplished. For every stage of a project’s elaboration, a lot of obstacles rise before. In order to materialize our projects we have to gather all the things, which can be useful. When we suggest ourselves that we want to perform, when we impose ourselves an objective and a program, we construct a project. For this, it may be useful to make a list of priorities, to decide what we can increase our chances of success. First, we have to define our own expectations. For this, is necessary to make the inventory of obstacles, which hinder us to conceive them with enough clarity. It’s better to keep account of our experience, our consciousness and our wishes.

Another way to draw to success is the dialogue. It is said that people ‘dialogue how they breathe’. This is obvious, but with practice we can even breathe better. A dialogue, which is lead well, can help us to rich a purpose, to get something we wanted for a long time, like a job, for example. Usually, we have the feeling that is very hard to communicate with other people. This is true, especially when we talk about a busy chief or a not responding interlocutor. Many time happens that we are unsatisfied with us because we don’t obtain what we think that we can obtain though dialogue. This insatisfaction is a sign of lucidity and proves that we have the necessary resources for understanding better and for using better the dialogue’s instruments. If we know how to dialogue, we can say that we have the chance on our side and we will be able to impose ourselves easier. For reaching the suggested purpose by means of the dialogue you have to be capable to guide the discussion in the direction you want, to have the necessary skills to convince the others that you are right.
