1. Perla Harghitei – Brief story of the company

Perla Harghita is a company producing mineral water and soft drinks from Romania. The company was founded in 1990 and then privatized in 1995.

The company has a portfolio of natural mineral water brands Perla Harghita, Harghita Tiva Crystalline and refreshments Allegria.

The source of Perla Harghitei mineral water is in Săncrăieni, a village placed between two ancient volcanic mountain ranges: Harghita (1800 m) and Ciuc Mountains (1500 m). The area - called Lower Ciuc, is amazingly beautiful and extremely rich in mineral water springs, with more than 80 springs and wells only around the village Sâncrăieni.

The Perla Harghitei mineral water is considered a miracle of the nature: without human intervention, the mineral water is microbiologically pure and perfectly balanced in minerals and carbon dioxide. A unique natural environment guarantees the purity of the Perla Harghitei mineral water. The volcanic region of the Harghita Mountains, one of the most famous in Europe, thanks to its richness in natural mineral water is protected from any source of contamination, far from hectic urban centers, industrial parks, or intensively used agricultural lands.

The mineral water is controlled throughout the bottling process, from the source to the bottling by the team of the internal quality control (control in every hour, day, week or month). Before the mineral water leaves the bottling line, it is again chemical- analytically controlled, for example: control of CO2 content, pH level, mineral content, microbiological controls, etc., which ensures the compliance with legal rules. Only through these strict controls and careful bottling can the constant and high quality of Perla Harghitei products be guaranteed.

The company's strategy focuses further on development, technology and diversification, to enjoy greater trust from domestic and foreign consumers. The company Perla Harghitei S.A. will strive hard to maintain the already implemented and certified management systems and to improve them continuously. In a competitive environment, in which the presence and consumption of natural mineral water and soft drinks are increasing, the company Perla Harghitei S.A. answers immediately - through its dynamic and professional employees - to the customer’s need, tending towards a higher satisfaction.

2. Product presentation: Perla Harghitei

“Loves Nature”

The company Perla Harghitei offers water, using three assortment: Natural mineral water in PET bottles, Natural mineral water in returnable glass bottles and Natural mineral water in personalized glass bottles.

The offer of Perla Harghitei natural mineral water bottled in PET bottles is very rich and varied, both in volume and in content of carbon dioxide. So every consumer will find the optimal version from the offer of Perla Harghitei in PET, as a quality-price-taste ratio. The product range varies from the bottle of 0.5 liter, for the immediate consumption at a restaurant, a terrace or on the street, and up to the bottle of 5 liter, which is suitable for consumption at home. Depending on the carbon dioxide, we find all three possible variants of natural mineral water: carbonated with a CO2 content of min. 3.500 mg/l, the partially de-carbonated with a CO2 content of max 1.300 mg/l, respectively the still water version.
