Why this destination?
We have some underlying reasons to open a hotel in this destination:
The quality of the beaches and islands:
Mamaia is a resort on the Romanian Black Sea shore and a district of Constanța.
Considered to be Romania's most popular resort, Mamaia is situated immediately north-east of Constanţa's city center. It has almost no full-time residents, being populated mostly during the summer.
Mamaia is built on a hill between the Black Sea and estuary called Siutghiol (Süt-Göl-"Lake milky" in Turkish). The Bank ridge has a length of 8 km, but only 300 m wide. The beach is very long, with a width of up to 250 m, covered with fine sand. Over it there are many shops, restaurants, terraces, clubs and discos.
Mamaia, at the north of the current station, was originally a typical coastal Dobrogea village with greek fishermen, romanian shepherds and horse breeders. The current location of Mamaia was not built until 1906, when the first wooden cabins corporated under two pavilions, terminating with a gazebo and a large forward deck appeared. Inauguration of the first building took place on August 22, 1906, being designed by architect E. RECONT , following the extension of the existing port to the beaches from south of Constanta and moving "the big bath" in north, respectively in the current Mamaia.
